It was approved along with the regulations by the Minister of Military Affairs on April 24, 1930.
Officer's version of the badge, one-piece, sterling silver (confirmed on the reverse by a small feature), enamel.

The pre-war cap is consistent with the maker of the badge, which is further confirmed on the reverse with the WG namesake in ligature.

Badge with beautiful patina, sufficient plus condition - visible scratches and dings, cracking of enamel and its repair on two arms of the cross.
