Commemorative badge of the 48th Border Rifle Infantry Regiment from Stanislawow.
It was approved along with the regulations by the Minister of Military Affairs on June 7, 1930.
Officer's version of the badge, a very early issue as evidenced by its low No. 18 (engraved), two-piece, silver, enamel. Made by Bronislaw Grabski - Lodz.
The pre-war cap is consistent with the maker of the badge (he is noted as its maker by H. Wielecki, R. Sieradzki).

Badge with beautiful patina and shine, very good minus condition - tiny enamel losses at the edge of the shield - badge little used.
