PMG-certified banknote with PMG 66 EPQ rating. Natural Piece.
Printed only on the obverse on chalk paper. Reverse clean.
Probably printed in a low mintage of a few dozen pieces in various variants, probably as part of the preparatory work for the printing of the Sabala test bill. The banknote was prepared on two types of paper, glossy chalk and banknote paper with watermarks from the Sabala test bill. The banknotes feature various "SPARK" security graphics.
The banknote is thematically related to highland folklore (the marzenica, the sculpture of the Sorrowful Christ, a highland village and mountains in the background). This is not a typical "test" banknote in the sense of "advertising" which could be seen at printing fairs or as an advertisement of PWPW's capabilities distributed to potential contractors. There are many indications that this is strictly a technological test of SPARK security features( which appeared on various variants such as the "Krakowiak" test bill).
A great rarity and a treat for PWPW collectors.
