The Warsaw Credit Bank was established in 1916. It conducted dynamic expansion by establishing numerous branches and acquiring real estate. After the currency reform, it had liquidity problems and was absorbed by the Bank for Trade and Industry S.A., which unfortunately only worsened the situation of the combined banks.
