The county town of Nysa in Upper Silesia became the starting point for several railroads in the 19th century, some of which still branched off into the county. Even so, around 1900 there were still gaps in the connections of many towns to the rail network. The Neisser Kreisbahn AG supplemented the rail network of the Nysa district in Silesia with two routes.
