Poland underwent denomination on January 1, 1995, and the Warsaw Mint conducted a series of test mintings before introducing the new coins into circulation. These coins are now extremely rare, most of them appearing on the auction market for the first time.
A rare stamping sample for the 5 zloty coin, made at the very beginning, when Schuler machines arrived at the Warsaw Mint. The first attempts were made on stamps that arrived from Italy along with the machines.
