Rare and iconographically very interesting type of denarius of Bolesław IV the Curly, with a depiction of an eagle walking to the right with spread wings.
Issued on a very thin disc, making it less legible, but for this type it is definitely a very well minted copy.
The type referring on the obverse to the first issues of Curly, showing the ruler straight ahead, on a throne, but with a raised sword.
Issue dated to the years after 1166.
Mint luster on both sides.
Bent.
Obverse: prince with a sword on the throne
Reverse: eagle with raised wings walking to the right
Diameter 17 mm, weight 0.33 g
