The thaler of the son of Augustus III Saxon, minted during his two-month period as elector in Saxony.

Frederick Christian vied for the throne of Poland, but died at the end of 1763, as Prince of Poland and Prince of Saxony.

Variety with the initials IFóF Johann Friedrich ô Feral and the letter S in the shoulder section.

Frederick Christian took the reign on October 5, 1763, and had already died of smallpox on December 17.

His thalers were minted at two mints, Dresden and Leipzig.

An above-average piece with natural good presence.
