Thaler of the son of Augustus III of Poland, minted during his two-month period as elector in Saxony.

Vriety with the initials IFóF of Johann Friedrich ô Feral and the letter S in the cross-section of the arm.

Frederick Christian took power on October 5, 1763, and on December 17 he died of smallpox.

His thalers were minted in two mints, Dresden and Leipzig.

Light surface hairliness.
