Variety with obverse legend CASM, star at the beginning of the reverse lgend and with initials HDL on sides of the coat of arms on the reverse of Hans Dawid Lauer, mint master of the Thorn mint.
Coin specified in Shatalin's catalogue as R5.
One of the rarest Thorn 1/4 thaler in an excellent state of preservation, which can be safely classified as a specimen with an excellent provenance from the Potocki Collection with an ownership mark on the obverse.
