The first issue of Teutonic Order brakteats with a representation of a gate, attributed to the Torun mint, dated 1257-1268.
Variety with a lily above the gate and a six-pointed star in the gate.
A slight crack on the collar, but overall a very nicely struck piece, especially for this type.
Obverse: a gate with four rectangular and two triangular ranges, surmounted by a lily and four balls.
