This token 1 shilling and 6 pence was issued by the Bank of England to supplement a deficiency in British regal coinage. The coin was struck by the Soho Mint, Birmingham between 1804 and 1812, despite the fact that it bears the date 1812. These bank tokens were withdrawn between 1817 and 1818.

Lighlty cleaned with some surface hairliness.
