This is how the medal was called in the émigré press, although it would be much more correct to call it "To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Volunteer Army. The obverse of this medal bears the mark of the first Kuban campaign and the date: "1917 - 2 - November - 1967". On the reverse, the inscription: "In honor and dignity of Russia". Medal diameter 50 mm. It was produced in several versions: silver (60 gr.) And brown (70 gr.).
The specimen in the collection of relics of the Russian General Military Union was donated to the ROVS by a descendant of the White officer, Dr. Mikołaj Nikolaevich Grekov (Paris) on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Volunteer Army. It is a silver plated bronze medal weighing 66 grams. On the edge, the seal of the Paris Mint and the inscriptions: "BRONZE" and "1967".
