Rare postwar banknote with single letter series. Very attractive, rare in any condition. The rarity of this variety is an effect of high purchasing power that this denomination had at the time of introduction into circulation. The average salary in 1950 was 550 zloty and 1008 zloty five years later. That means that only one piece of this banknote was enough to pay the average salary in 1950, five years later only two were needed. Hardly anyone could afford to keep this banknote for collector reasons. Most likely all single letter series were put into circulation,. Hence this variety is considered to be the rarest banknote of the period of the Polish Peoples's Republic. Highly recommended!
