Children's festival was organized every year in Schwäbisch Hall since 1868, but it had to be interrupted due to World War I. The organization of this holiday was resumed in 1921, and the event was commemorated with the issuance of a commemorative medal made by the Mayer & Wilhelm factory from Stuttgart.
