Accompanying the set is ID No. 98 for this badge, issued on October 18, 1934 to Stanislaw Forszpaniak. The legitimation was signed by Lt. Col. Aleksander Kiszkowski, who was deputy commander of the 70th Infantry Regiment from Pleszew between 1934 and 1939. This officer is a victim of the Katyn Massacre - he was murdered in Kharkov in 1940.
Military Preparedness as a military organization in Poland operated from 1927-1939 under the auspices of the State Office of Physical Education and Military Preparedness. It prepared young people for military service during courses and camps. It included male volunteers between the ages of 15 and 30. In 1937, Military Adoption became a compulsory subject in all high schools and universities. Education in this subject lasted 2 years.
