Przysposobienie Wojskowe as a military organization in Poland operated in the years 1927-1939 under the auspices of the State Office of Physical Education and Military Training. It prepared young people for military service during courses and camps. It included male volunteers between the ages of 15 and 30. In 1937, Military Adoption became a compulsory subject in all high schools and universities. Education in this subject lasted 2 years.
