The commemorative badge of the 29th Kaniowski Rifle Regiment from Kalisz.
It was approved by the Minister of Military Affairs on April 29, 1924, and its regulations on February 12, 1929.
Officer's version of the badge, a very early issue as evidenced by its low No. 35 (stamped with a numerator), four-piece, silver, enamel.
Made by Wiktor Gontarczyk - Warsaw.
The pre-war cap is consistent with a variant of this early badge, showing the badge number and the abbreviated formation name 29 P.S.K.
Dimensions 43 x 43 mm
Badge with patina, good minus condition - visible large rubbing of badge elements (Kalisz coat of arms and commemorative badge of the 2nd Polish Corps in Russia), Eagle or enamel wear, dictated by long time of its use.
