It was approved by the Minister of Military Affairs on June 21, 1929.
Officer's version of the badge, No. 510 (stamped with a numerator), one-piece, oxidized sterling silver (confirmed on the reverse with a small feature).

The pre-war cap is consistent with the maker of the badge, which is further confirmed on the reverse with the AN namesake.
