Jerzy Chalupski in his specialized catalog writes as follows: "One can notice that each time the core is positioned differently in relation to the ring. The connection of the two elements also does not seem precise. I conclude from this that at some stage of preparation for the production of five-dollar coins, the use of previously pressed cores was tested. The legend on the ring was embossed during the operation of joining the elements."
