A very rare technological sample made at the State Mint.
The core was struck without twisting the obverse and reverse axes, while the stamps of the obverse and reverse of the hoop were inverted in relation to each other by 180 degrees.
Jerzy Chałupski in his specialized catalog writes as follows: "It can be noted that each time the core is positioned differently in relation to the ring. The connection of the two elements also does not seem precise. I conclude from this that at some stage of preparation for the production of five-dollar coins, the use of previously pressed cores was tested. The legend on the ring was embossed during the operation of joining the elements."
